How to Tag Pictures on Facebook

There are more than hundred pictures on this website now. But most of the visitors have questioned how to tag friends using these pictures. This post will show you with screen-shots how to upload taggable pictures on facebook and tag your friends.

First of all, and obviously you need to have an account on Facebook. After signing it, check and perform the following steps:

How to Save Taggable Picture and Upload on Facebook

This section will tell you how to open, save and upload a picture.

• First, browse through taggable pictures on this website and open the image you want to tag friends on.

• When the taggable picture is open as as-follow, right-click on it and select the option “Save image as” or “Save Picture As“. Save image, from where it is easily accessible e.g. Desktop or My Documents.

• Now Log-in to Facebook and open your profile by clicking “Profile” on the “Home” page.

• Now in your “Profile” click the tab “Photos” to open all the photos of you.

• If you want to upload more then one taggable picture, I would prefer you to create a ‘New Album‘ and name it as funny as you can, to get the attention. OR if you want to keep the facebook taggable picture in already created album, click on the album in the row below, and after opening it, in the next page click on ‘Add more photos‘.

Remember that you will need Java to upload photos many at a time, quickly.

• With Java applet (see the picture below) browse through the folder where you have saved your downloaded taggable picture(s), (e.g. Desktop or My Documents), select the file(s) and click Upload.

• Soon After the Pictures have been uploaded, a page would appear showing the uploaded pictures and a text box to enter captions for the pictures. Enter what you like and click ‘Save Changes‘.

After clicking the button, you would get a notification either to publish your pictures in your Profile. If you want your Taggies to go social, click Publish else click Skip.

How to Tag Friends on Facebook

Now that you have created your Album and uploaded the Taggable Picture(s), its time to tag your friends on them.

• Soon after creating or opening your album on Facebook, you would get thumbnails of your uploaded pictures. Click any picture to start with the tagging.

• As soon as you open your picture, you would see a button on lower-right side saying ‘Tag this photo‘. Click it and you would enter the ‘Tagging‘ mode.

• Now Click any cartoon or section on the picture. A drop down menu will open which has all the names of your friends on facebook. Type or browse through the list, find your friend which best suits the description.

• After you tag your multiple friends, you would see their names just below the picture and an option to undo the tag. on mouse roll-over, you would also see the portion of picture dedicated for your friends.

• When you have tagged sufficient friends, Click Done Tagging.

And that is it. You have successfully learned and tagged your friends on the Taggable Pictures.
